  • Generation reports you can read

Sun by day. Grid by night.

Your panels peak around noon, but most homes use the most power in the evening. The net meter joins the two: what the roof sends out during the day is taken off what the house draws after dark.

From the first call to power on your meter

Five steps, one team. You always know which one you are on.

Start with a free survey
  1. 1

    Free site survey

We measure the roof, check for shadows and look at your sanctioned load, then size the plant to your real bill.

  2. 2

    Written proposal

Bill of material, expected generation, savings, subsidy and total cost. The make of every item is named.

  3. 3

    Installation

Structure, panels, wiring, earthing and commissioning by our own team. A home system usually takes 2 to 3 days.

  4. 4

    Net meter and subsidy

We file the DVVNL / Torrent Power net meter application and the PM Surya Ghar claim, and follow up until the money is in your account.

  5. 5

    Service

Twelve months of free maintenance, then an annual contract if you want one. One number to call.

Plants we design and build

Home rooftops, shops, schools, hospitals and factory sheds.

One local team, from the first survey to the last service call

Design, supply, installation, approvals and upkeep stay with the same people, so nothing falls between two contractors.

  • 01

    Sized to your bill

We size the plant against your actual bill and sanctioned load. A bigger system is not always a better one, and we will say so.

  • 02

    Our own installers

Structure, wiring and earthing are done by people on our payroll, not handed to a passing contractor.

  • 03

    Paperwork handled

National portal registration, DVVNL / Torrent Power feasibility, the net meter application and the subsidy claim are followed up by our office.

  • 04

    Tier-1 material

Tier-1 panels, reputed inverters and hot-dip galvanised structure. The make of every item is written into your proposal.

  • 05

    Service that answers

An engineer in Agra who picks up the phone, with twelve months of free maintenance after commissioning.

  • 06

    Built for Agra summers

Designed for 45 degree heat, dust and the monsoon months, because we live here too.

How much subsidy do I get for a home system?
Under PM Surya Ghar the Government of India pays Rs 30,000 for a 1 kW system, Rs 60,000 for 2 kW and Rs 78,000 for 3 kW and above. Uttar Pradesh adds a state subsidy of Rs 15,000 per kW, up to Rs 30,000, so a home system of 3 kW or more can receive up to Rs 1,08,000 in all. The money is credited directly to your bank account after commissioning and net meter installation. Commercial and industrial connections are not covered.
How much roof area is needed?
Roughly 100 sq ft of shadow-free roof per kW on a standard structure. A 3 kW home system needs about 300 sq ft. On an elevated structure the space below stays fully usable.
What happens to the electricity I do not use?
With net metering your extra units are exported to the grid and adjusted against your consumption, so your meter effectively runs backwards during the day. In Agra the net meter is provided by DVVNL or Torrent Power, depending on your area.
How long does a home installation take?
Site survey and design takes about 2 days, material delivery 3 to 5 days and installation 2 to 3 days. Net meter installation depends on the DISCOM and usually takes 2 to 4 weeks after commissioning.
What is the warranty?
25 years performance warranty on panels (30 years on TOPCon), 5 to 10 years on the inverter as per make, and 5 years workmanship warranty from EcoSun Energy Solutions. The first 12 months of maintenance are free.
Does solar work in the monsoon and in winter fog?
Generation drops on cloudy and foggy days but does not stop. The system is sized on a full year, so the surplus from the sunny months balances the dull ones through net metering.
Will I have power during a power cut?
A standard on-grid plant switches off during a power cut - that is a safety rule, so nobody working on the line is harmed. If you need backup, ask us for a hybrid system with a battery, which keeps your essential loads running.
Can I get a loan for rooftop solar?
Yes. Most public sector banks offer rooftop solar loans at low interest for home systems under PM Surya Ghar. We help you with the quotation, the technical documents and the application.
Do you maintain plants installed by other companies?
Yes. Our maintenance and health check services cover plants built by anyone. We start with an inspection, give you a written report and quote the maintenance contract from there.
